This past weekend we packed up the car and headed to Duluth with our friends, The Willards. First on the agenda, a nice walk along the water and lakewalk. I had anticipated spending more time on this but it was so hot and humid we were all ready to go back to the hotel (and the water park in the hotel) after lunch. Here is Kasey and dad in front of the lift bridge!
Kasey smiling for the camera!
Our friend lent us her very fancy Double BOB stroller. I had anticipated it being for the babies but by the end of the lakewalk when we were all tired and droopy that stroller managed to fit 4 kids on it!
Reagan loves the water!! She kept wanting to sit down in it!
Our rooms had a really great view of Lake Superior, this is all the kids checking out a huge boat on the water.
Our hotel was very kid friendly and they had, other than the waterpark, a mini golf course, bounce house and big slide. This was Kasey's first round of mini golf and I am not sure that we will rush out to do it again any time soon :)
More mini golf, Charlie is the water hazzard on this hole!
Another first! Kasey's first s'more!
We were lucky enough to have 2 suites next to each other. The suites had 2 rooms and a balcony so we both put our kids to sleep in the front room and hung out on our balconies and enjoyed some adult beverages and watched a storm come over the lake. This might have been my favorite part of the weekend. Not that there is anything wrong with mini-golf and s'mores but beer, chips and adult conversation is kind of nice too!

I second that emotion (beer, chips, adult conversation). We'll have to do it again!
