Trip to Minot

So we finally made the 9 hour drive up to Minot this summer.  In the past I have had frequent flyer miles so we flew but not this year!  The drive up was pretty good, we stopped over night half way in Fargo to break up the trip.  Right away when we got there, they wanted to climb the "mountain" in back of grandma and grandpa's house.

Marshmallow roasting...this was Reagan's first one ever.  How is that possible?
 Bird watching......
I love this picture.  Kasey was sad that she couldn't run as fast as her cousins and keep up, so she sat down frustrated.  Reagan sat next to her, gave her a hug and said "You can do it SuperKasey, you can do it."  So cute!
 More marshmallow eating.

There is a long trail in front of their house and we went for a lot of long walks to let the kids explore and Reagan, in her never ending quest to get as much daddy time as possible, insisted on being carried for a large piece of it.
Ok, we are not sure what is going on here but this is Reagan asleep in her bed at Grandma and Grandpa's.  She shoved her teddy bear up inside her jammy shirt.  Was she snuggling with it? Pretending to be Dolly Parton?  We don't know but thought it was pretty funny.
So, overall it was an awesome trip.  We learned that Grandma and Grandpa have infinite ability to play house in their camper with Kasey, that Grandma still makes the best chocolate chip cookies ever and that we probably shouldn't try to drive the ENTIRE way home in one day.

Every time I hear Minot or saw it in a airport in MN, I always hear you describing it and saying "Why not Minot" Ha! And 9 hours is totally a piece of cake we did 15 to and from MN with the girls - and on the way there they slept a total of 15 minutes - and that was WITH Dramamine!! The girls are adorable and look sooooo much alike!!!
