This past weekend we had a sleepover with our friends, the Willards. They live in Woodbury so it is hard to have any cocktails and then have to worry about driving back home with 2 kids in the car. So, we decided to have a sleepover! Scott called ahead of time and since it was so warm, he set up the slip n slide and baby pools and we went to town!
Kasey never really got the hang of the slip n slide but she tried!!
Zach knew how to do it though!
Love this picture! This is Kasey going down the slide into the kiddie pool. I love how Reagan's fearlessness really pushes Kasey to do things that she would normally be too cautious to do.
I had to laugh that when Scott called to say that they were setting up the pools and the slip and slide that Matt put on his swimsuit. He loves all this kid stuff and never misses and opportunity to look ridiculous and play with the kids. Exhibit A.
Exhibit B
Exhibit C...sorry it is sideways. I am too lazy to wade through all the pictures and change it!
Reagan liked it too!
Reagan loves to find dandelions and blow the fuzz off them although half the time she ends up putting the whole flower in her mouth and getting a tongue full of fuzz.
Charlie and Reagan watching the big kids play kickball in the driveway. At the end of the night when the grownups were having some drinks and enjoying a campfire, we heard Zach yell outside, "Kasey barfed in her belly!" huh? So I run up to the room that she and Zach were sharing and she told me that she "barfed in her belly and it hurts really hard!" Not really sure what that meant but she got over it quickly and thankfully, went to sleep.
After spending about $30 in plants in May. Of all the strawberry, tomato and peppers, this is the ONLY one that made it to maturity. So, Kasey was excited and actually ate some of it, which is huge for her.
Reagan has been a bit surly these past few days but Jen at daycare noticed a molar peeking through so that might explain it. Anyways, thought that this picture sums it up!
Just another "I am so grateful that my girls love each other so much" post. Kasey was riding around on the awesome-mobile and Reagan was mad because SHE wanted to ride it. So, Kasey invited her to sit on her lap and they both rode it and had a ball. Love my girls!
