This weekend was a busy one. We started Saturday morning with breakfast at Cracker Barrel--I am sure I am the only person under 50 who loves that place but I can't get enough of their Pecan Pancakes--YUM! Kasey made a new friend in the older man and his wife that say next to us at the restaurant--she charmed him with her high pitched screams and smiles :)
Later that day we headed over to the Woodbury YMCA with our friends Scott, Liz and Zach. Kasey had her first swim in the kiddie pool. Now that she is older, it is so fun to see her personality come out. For the first 20 minutes she just observed and took it all in, she wasn't scared or anything but she was just being mellow and watching. After a while, she really got into it and loves spashing and when daddy would zoom her through the water super fast.
Sunday, Grandma and Grandpa Abrahamson came over. While Daddy and grandpa fixed our leaky toilet (gross!) we played upstairs. It was a lot of fun and Kasey was ready for bath and bed right after they left--very tiring getting kissed that much!
Below is a video of a new skill that Kasey has learned--where is your eye? Of course, when you ask her where the kitties are or where her nose is, she points to her eye too but one thing at a time!

Oh my gosh, I have always told you she was 'gifted'. Being able to know and point to her eye, and all at 1 YEAR OLD!! It has to be a record, doesn't it? Thanks for sharing these important pictures. Love, G&G 'A'
