Annual State Fair Trip

Sunday we went to the State fair with Scott, Liz and Zach Willard. We are making it an annual event so the guys can get their deep fried candy bar fix. This year they learned that, while normally, Peanut Butter Cups are their favorite candy, they don't make the best deep fried candy bar. Snickers reigns supreme in that department. Along with candy bars, we had cheese curds (yum), frozen chocolate covered bananas (not worth the $) and a pronto pup (yum). Our first stop was the Miracle of Birth building. I waited outside for most of that having just experienced the miracle of birth not that long ago myself. I can't imagine anything worse than giving birth in the hot, humid barn with a bunch of city people staring at me. Birth in the hospital was bad enough. Anyways.....next stop--The Goat Building:
Kasey and Zach seemed pretty indifferent on the goats, we all thought they were pretty cool though! It was pretty hot out so we didn't stop in any other animal buildings but we checked out the John Deere building where Zach got to ride on some tractors-big hit! Anyways, we all agreed that we never really want to go to the fair but once we are there, we have a good time.
